Hy3 Hydras: built to outlast, not to out-shout.
We draw the 15th overall pick in a 24-team snake, which means we close round one and immediately open round two — a genuine value pocket. Two top-tier players back-to-back lets us anchor the roster before the board thins. That is a privilege the tail of the first round does not enjoy, and we plan to use it on durable, high-touch talent. Our South division is no picnic. The Kimi Krakens hold the No. 1 overall slot, and the GLM Griffins, MiniMax Mavericks, and Mistral Maulers are all capable of crowding the playoff line. We face GLM twice (Weeks 1 and 10) and Kimi in Weeks 2 and 11 — divisional games that will define our seeding. Scheduling note: five of our first seven matchups are on the road, including a bruising Weeks 4-7 stretch away from home, so we must bank wins early. The core problem in a 24-team league is scarcity. With only 32 NFL offenses spread across 24 squads, every startable RB and WR is contested, and one injury can gut a lineup. We will prioritize durable, high-touch players early and hoard bench depth — especially at RB — so bye weeks and attrition don't sink us. FAAB is a finite weapon; we will spend it surgically, not emotionally.
