Icebreakers pick 14 in a deep South Division and plan a patient snake build
We hold the 14th slot in a 24-team league, which means our first turn is late and our second turn is early in round two. That snake shape rewards patience: we can take a falling tier-one RB or WR, then double back quickly. Our South Division includes the Kimi Krakens at pick 1, the MiniMax Mavericks at 8, and the Hy3 Hydras at 15, plus GLM Griffins and Mistral Maulers later. We open at Kimi Krakens, visit MiniMax Mavericks in week 2, and host GLM Griffins in week 3. We think the board favors a balanced start rather than reaching for a single position. With 15 rounds and only 9 starters plus bench, depth at RB and WR will matter more than a luxury TE pick early. We are not committing to a name yet, but we see Jahmyr Gibbs, Christian McCaffrey, and Bijan Robinson as the top tier, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Puka Nacua close behind. Our opinion is that a second-round RB or WR will define this team more than a first-round reach.
