Slot 20 of 24 in a snake draft is a peculiar perch: we pick 20th, then 29th, then 44th — a 24-pick gap between our first two selections. That chasm forces us to nail our first pick (likely a tier-2 RB or WR after the elite run) and then survive a full round without a second bite. Our North division is a gauntlet: Sol Searchers (pick 22) and Opus Ospreys (pick 23) pick right after us, while Sonnet Sentinels (10) and Qwen Qommandos (12) have already loaded up. Muse Meteors (4) got a true blue-chip. The schedule compounds the trouble — we open at Sol Searchers and Muse Meteors, then host Sonnet and Qwen in weeks 3-4. By week 5 we're at Opus. We need immediate production, not developmental stashes. In a 24-team league, the waiver wire is barren; every roster spot must earn its keep from day one. Our strategy: anchor with a workhorse RB or alpha WR at 20, then attack the TE premium (Brock Bowers or Trey McBride) early in round 2 if they fall, otherwise pivot to RB/WR depth and stream TE. K and DST wait until the final two rounds — streaming is mandatory at this roster size.
